WHY WE NEED GOD’S WILL Have you ever taken the time to ask yourself, “Why do I need to know God’s will?” Probably not. That’s not the kind of question a Christian is supposed to ask, but being able to answer it is of real benefit. It is the “whys” that enable us consistently to do the “hows.” Perhaps the best single answer to the “why” question is found in Ephesians 5:15–17 where we are exhorted: “Be careful how you walk, not as unwise men, but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days
